Danfoss EC-C24-D180 is a low-voltage DC input, high-current output motor controller, with excellent
hardware and software performance. In the control strategy of permanent magnet synchronous motor, the
FOC vector control combined with the maximum torque current ratio (MTPA) control technology improves
the efficiency of the system.
The controller adopts a dual-MCU control architecture; MCU1 is used for real-time motor control, MCU2 is
used for functional safety detection and diagnostics, which improves the real-time and security of the
system. The communication scheme uses isolated CAN circuits to reduce the influence of external
interference on the control system.
An inertial measurement unit (IMU) is integrated into the controller to monitor the vehicle’s attitude.
The controller integrates advanced motion-control technology, and customers can configure their own
control effects according to their own driving requirements.
